BOISE, Idaho (KBOI) - Officials have identified the woman who was found floating last weekend in the Boise River.
The Ada County Coroner's Office says Amanda Nicole Reyes of Boise likely died of a drowning, however, toxicology tests have been ordered.
Police said they responded to the incident at around 9:10 a.m. Saturday after two Boise residents called dispatchers reporting a body floating in the river near the Main Street bridge.
The citizens tracked the body's location along the river as a Boise Fire Dive Rescue Team worked to retrieve the woman's body downstream near 38th Street, police officials reported.
